But on the other hand… well on the other hand it’s impossible to be indifferent to the immense potentialities of these five guys from Atlanta. So, at the end, for many extreme lovers, they should result simply too mainstream. At the same time they have only few points in common with the more modern European death metal school: the use of the melody is totally different and we can say the same about the arrangements too. On one hand we are in front of an hybrid band that has nothing in common with the death metal acts from Us that have fed this kind of music during the last twenty years: Daath are simply too modern and catchy. Well, what to say about a band that is on everyone’s lips since the first steps? I’d start to say that this album will divide the extreme metal lovers. Second new album for Daath and their modern death metal after the highly acclaimed “The Hinderers” of two years ago.
